Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the basic matters — including the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of SundayFactory (the "Operator") and users (each a "Member"), and the conditions and procedures for use — regarding the use of Magnasce (the "Service"), a religious discussion community application provided by the Operator.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" means the Magnasce mobile application and all related services provided by the Operator.
  2. "Member" means a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service by signing in with a Google account.
  3. "Content" means any and all information a Member posts to the Service, including posts, comments, replies, images, and links.
  4. "Religion Community" means the set of boards dedicated to a specific religion that a Member has joined.
  5. "Moderator" means an administrator designated by the Operator with authority to handle reports, manage content, and apply sanctions.

Article 3 (Posting and Amending the Terms)

  1. The Operator posts these Terms so that they can be viewed on the Service's initial screen and in My Page within the app.
  2. The Operator may amend these Terms to the extent not in violation of applicable laws. When amending, the Operator will announce the effective date and reason at least 7 days before the effective date (30 days for changes unfavorable to Members or otherwise material).
  3. A Member who does not express refusal by the effective date of the amended Terms is deemed to have agreed to them. A Member who does not agree may stop using the Service and withdraw membership.

Article 4 (Formation of the Use Agreement)

  1. The use agreement is formed when a prospective Member agrees to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines, confirms that they are at least 14 years old, signs in with a Google account, and the Operator accepts.
  2. Children under 14 may not join the Service. If the Operator confirms that a user is under 14, the Operator may restrict or delete the account.
  3. The Operator may refuse an application, or later terminate the use agreement, in any of the following cases:
    • Using another person's identity or account
    • A history of use restrictions for violating these Terms or the Community Guidelines
    • A recognized intent to disrupt the normal operation of the Service

Article 5 (Accounts and Nicknames)

  1. The Service uses Google Sign-In as its only authentication method. Members are responsible for managing their Google account and Service account with reasonable care.
  2. Members set a nickname for use in the Service, subject to the Operator's policies (no duplicates, restricted change intervals, etc.). Nicknames that impersonate others or contain hateful, demeaning, or obscene expressions may be restricted.
  3. Members are, in principle, responsible for all activity that occurs under their account.

Article 6 (Provision and Modification of the Service)

  1. The Operator provides features such as participation in religion communities, writing posts and comments, likes, reports, blocking, notifications, and profile management.
  2. The Operator may modify or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, with prior notice. In urgent cases, notice may be given afterward.
  3. The Operator may display advertisements within the Service to cover the costs of maintaining it.

Article 7 (Rights and Responsibilities for Content)

  1. Copyright in Content created by a Member belongs to that Member.
  2. The Member grants the Operator permission to use, reproduce, transmit, and display the Content within the Service for the purposes of operating, displaying, promoting, and improving the Service. This use is limited to the scope necessary to provide the Service.
  3. The Member warrants that they hold lawful rights to their Content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party. The posting Member is responsible for disputes and damages arising from their Content.
  4. The Operator may hide or delete Content without prior notice if it violates these Terms, the Guidelines, or applicable laws, or if reports against it have accumulated (see Article 9 and the Report & Sanction Policy).

Article 8 (Prohibited Conduct)

Members must not engage in the following. Detailed standards follow the Community Guidelines.

  1. Mocking or demeaning a specific religion, faith, or its believers, or inciting hatred, discrimination, or violence
  2. Physical threats, incitement of violence, encouragement of illegal acts, or posting obscene material
  3. Disclosing another person's personal information without consent, or impersonation
  4. Spam such as repeated promotion or flooding, or use contrary to a board's purpose (e.g., provoking disputes on a prayer board)
  5. Exploiting vulnerabilities of the Service or generating abnormal traffic through automated means
  6. Abusing the report feature or re-creating accounts to evade sanctions
  7. Any other conduct that violates applicable laws, these Terms, or the Guidelines

Article 9 (Use Restrictions and Sanctions)

  1. If a Member violates Article 8 or the Community Guidelines, the Operator may apply staged sanctions: warning, 24-hour posting restriction, 7-day posting restriction, and permanent suspension. For serious violations — such as clearly illegal content, threats, or disclosure of personal information — the Operator may skip stages and take stronger measures immediately.
  2. When reports against the same post or comment accumulate to a certain number (currently 10), it may be hidden automatically on a temporary basis; this is not final deletion but registration for moderator review.
  3. Specific standards, procedures, and appeal methods for sanctions are set out in the Report & Sanction Policy.

Article 10 (Membership Withdrawal and Data Deletion)

  1. A Member may request account deletion at any time in My Page within the app.
  2. Deletion does not take effect immediately; a grace period of 7 days applies, during which the Member may cancel the request. After the grace period, the account is deactivated and personal information is destroyed or anonymized.
  3. The scope of deletion and processing procedures follow the relevant provisions of the Privacy Policy.

Article 11 (Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Operator is not liable for Service interruptions caused by natural disasters, force majeure, or causes attributable to the Member.
  2. The Service provides a forum for free discussion about religion; the Operator does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of opinions or information posted by Members, nor any particular religious view.
  3. The Operator has no obligation to intervene in disputes arising between Members, or between a Member and a third party, mediated by the Service, and is not liable for damages arising therefrom.
  4. The Operator limits its liability in connection with the Service to the extent permitted by applicable laws.

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes between the Operator and a Member in connection with use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.
